Christmas Cards
A seasonal snowfall during the Christmas holidays turned Marple into a winter wonderland for four days in December 2001. We made the most of this rare opportunity and captured many of Marple's favourite locations with a layer of snow, making them even more attractive than usual. We turned twelve of the best pictures into a range of Christmas cards with a strong local theme to carry seasonal greetings from Marple to friends and relatives anywhere in the world. It wasn't until 2005 that the opportunity came along for us to add to our Christmas card range, which we then did with another twelve snowy local scenes to give even more choice.
The Christmas cards are available in four different packs, each containing a different six of the twenty-four designs available. The packs are presented in a transparent display bag, to keep them in the best possible condition, along with six envelopes. The cards in packs 1 and 2 all have a seasonal greeting from Marple on the front, whilst inside they carry the simple message; "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year." The cards in pack 3 and 4 contain a similar message inside but the greetings on the front do not mention Marple, so that you can send them even if you don't live in Marple!
