Following our aquisition of an old wooden box full of 6" x 4" glass negatives of Marple dating from the early 1900s we were presented with the opportunity to do something a bit different for 2008 and the resulting "vintage" sepia Marple and Mellor calendar proved very popular.

The calendar's success enabled us to make a donation of £1,000 toward new equipment in the infants play area in Marple Memorial Park and it has been rewarding to see this revitalised facility being so well used every day.
